When a site white-screens after an update, the amateur move is deactivating plugins until it stops. We read the error logs, reproduce the failure on a staging copy, and find the actual collision — two plugins registering the same hook, a theme function shadowing a plugin's, a PHP version mismatch. Then we fix that line, so the same storm doesn't return next update.
A slow WordPress site is a diagnosis, not a mystery. We profile what each page really does: how many database queries it fires (a bloated site can run hundreds per view), which plugins add the heaviest ones, and where each caching layer — page cache, object cache, browser cache — will actually pay off. Then we cut the number down and measure again, because "feels faster" isn't a metric.
